GIE attended Arisia 2020 as a guest author and panelist, where she and other industry pros talked about craft, publishing, diversity, and navigating the world of professional writing. She also played in a live D&D 5th Edition game (see left), for the audience's amusement, where she played a gnome barbarian who most certainly didn't rage in a room full of dangerous potions, talked Frozen 2, and met with readers
