Happy New Year, Dear Readers!

I hope 2018 was everything you hoped for and more. For me, 2018 was a super busy year, filled with things good and bad, successes and heartbreaks. Your support was the key to all the good things, so I'm calling it a success!

I also signed with rock star agent, Linda Camacho of Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency, and we're working on something behind the scenes--not a secret project but a quiet project, one that's been brewing in my mind and on paper for a long time. But for now, I just want to give a huge shout-out to all the readers, bloggers, influencers, social media mavens, friends, and family for all your love and support! You really helped make my 2018 a fantastic year!

I hope Syl and Rouen's story provided you with fun, excitement, laughter and tears, and a well-deserved respite from the really real world for a bit.

For now, I'll leave you with my personal Rules of Engagement for 2019:

I will not ascribe intent. I will not unnecessarily take ownership. I will communicate and minimize my expectations. I will not compare myself to others.

I will let go: - of anger -of grudges -of failure -of loss -of negativity in all its forms

I will be kind when I can and firm when I must. I will try to leave the spaces I enter a little bit brighter.
